I liked my chip and I noticed a difference even with my automatic transmission. I have had it so long I don't notice it now but I have no regrets __________________ 1995 318ti Active Pioneer Speakers [] Aluminum Billet door locks [] ACS Pedals/Deadrest [] ACS Shift Knob / E-Brake Handle [] Clear Corners/Tails/Sides [] Sylvania Exterior Lighting [] Custom CAI [] Dinan Engine Chip [] Dinan Transmission Chip [] H&R Race Springs [] Tokico Illumina Shocks [] BMW X-Brace [] Relocated Lighter Mod [] Custom iPod Mod http://www.cardomain.com/id/robcarync | | | 04-13-2010, 07:25 PM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2010 Location: Ottawa Posts: 579 | Quote: Originally Posted by robcarync Dinan is tested and trusted...it gives gains and also works well with other bolt ons like exhaust and Intakes. It's a hefty price to pay for small numbers. You will benifit from a BMWCONNECT or MARKD chip alot more if your looking for true power increase and reliability in one package. expect to pay top dollar for MARKD chip as he has been around and selling for along time. The only reason my prices are low is because im new to selling not new to tuning. After June first my prices will be going up | | | 04-13-2010, 08:06 PM | #12 | Member Join Date: Apr 2010 Location: orange county Posts: 42 | hmm tested and trusted sounds great but who knows im kinda on the urge to try the new product and see if it works does anyone think illl be sorry ? | | | 04-13-2010, 08:41 PM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2010 Location: Ottawa Posts: 579 | You will be if you don't run 91octane lol | | | 04-13-2010, 10:26 PM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2003 Location: cary, nc Posts: 2,259 | You can always give it a try....especially for a low price. Dinan is conservative...as been mentioned before a lot of their stuff is dicontinued for the 318ti so it may not be a bad idea to give something new a try. I can just vouch for dinan...i got my engine and the automatic transmission chip for half off at a local dinan dealer because it was on a ridiculous sale...but I liked it. __________________ 1995 318ti Active Pioneer Speakers [] Aluminum Billet door locks [] ACS Pedals/Deadrest [] ACS Shift Knob / E-Brake Handle [] Clear Corners/Tails/Sides [] Sylvania Exterior Lighting [] Custom CAI [] Dinan Engine Chip [] Dinan Transmission Chip [] H&R Race Springs [] Tokico Illumina Shocks [] BMW X-Brace [] Relocated Lighter Mod [] Custom iPod Mod http://www.cardomain.com/id/robcarync | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | Similar Threads | Thread | Thread Starter | Forum | Replies | Last Post | Dinan Chip DME | hatchgrafix | US and North America | 21 | 04-04-2010 08:04 AM | Dinan Chip | wpi_guy | Engine | 10 | 03-13-2008 11:52 PM | Dinan Chip | adamud | eBay and Craig's list listings | 5 | 07-04-2007 03:15 PM | Dinan chip | BmWwHiPPin | Engine | 4 | 06-09-2006 09:22 PM | Dinan Chip? | Flava Flav | Engine | 37 | 03-27-2006 03:10 PM | |
