Default Transmission Trouble Code?

I had a friend pull the code when my check engine light came on a week or so ago. Is is as follows:
P0740 TCC Circuit Malfunction.
I think this has something to do with the torque converter solenoid.
Where is this and how easy is this to be replaced?
Thanks

Does your car drive differently? If not, I'd reset the code and see if it comes back. Sometimes codes are just random transient things that aren't issues.

At times I can feel the cars torque converter slip in and out of lockup for no particular reason. Strange feeling. If this is an easy fix I would love to attempt it myself.

Here is where it is located, but I have no idea if you can get at it or not or if you should.
