I had them on my car for a while and then replaced them with the eyeball arms. __________________ 1996 318ti sport model, m3 bumper cover, velocity splitter, AKG shift knob, factory clears, super sprint exhaust, UUC floormats, UUC tranny mounts, UUC clutch bushings, UUC shifter bushings, Powerflex LCABS... replaced with treehouse eyeballs, front sway bar bushings, RTABS, TMS rear shock mounts, Bilsteins, Xbrace, sparco strut brace, AKG subframe bushings, AKG differential mount bushing, M coupe shifter, meyle ball joints and sway bar endlinks | | | 10-31-2006, 09:10 PM | #17 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Halethorpe, MD Posts: 1,028 | How did you like them? Did you have any issues installing them? | | | 10-31-2006, 10:00 PM | #18 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: southern CA Posts: 127 | The powerflex are better than the stock lcabs. They still were somewhat soft, thats why I installed the eyeball arms. The eyeball arms made the steering wheel feel much more responsive. __________________ 1996 318ti sport model, m3 bumper cover, velocity splitter, AKG shift knob, factory clears, super sprint exhaust, UUC floormats, UUC tranny mounts, UUC clutch bushings, UUC shifter bushings, Powerflex LCABS... replaced with treehouse eyeballs, front sway bar bushings, RTABS, TMS rear shock mounts, Bilsteins, Xbrace, sparco strut brace, AKG subframe bushings, AKG differential mount bushing, M coupe shifter, meyle ball joints and sway bar endlinks | | | 11-22-2006, 06:48 PM | #19 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Halethorpe, MD Posts: 1,028 | Just an update on these things. We got them on the car this past weekend. It was a total PITA to get the old ones out, but these slid right in. All you have to do is wet the black part and put it and the bracket in a vise and it will squeeze right in. It'll probably be a while before I get a chance, but I'll put a picture up here of them on the car so you can see how they work. The control actually extends fairly deeply into the purple part. I haven't driven the car since the install because the alignment is so out of whack due to the other stuff we did. We changed so many other things that I don't know if I'll really be able to tell how much difference these make. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
