Default Lamin-X for ZKW's

Thanks, Earl! That makes sense, but I hesitated since I've read about other ellipsoid lights with the flush front glass. Either way, Brian from Lamin-X suggested applying the film just under the 'velocity nipples' and trimming the excess off the bottom. Not the most elegant solution, but it sure beats not covering the ZKW at all.

Happy Holidays, all!

Default New Headlights!

Lights are in and they are on! Boy, these lights are great! Thanks again @angelicmisskitty, and thank you @Earl for the Lamin-X suggestion. I ended up using a blow-dryer to work the ellipsoid lens protector onto the speed nipples. It took a little work but was reasonably simple. The only trouble I ran into during install was relocating my alarm horn since it was in the way of the larger ZKW housing.

Here's the before and after:

Thanks! For the comment and, of course, for the ZKW's. I'm gonna bother you for a set of clear tail/sides next. Lemme know when you get some in, please.

Oh, and hellrot indeed makes for the hottest hatches. Merry Christmas!

First set of Bosch projector lights available in 2018!!

VERY nice condition, barely any pitting on the glasses at all, no broken tabs. The set ships with euro connector plugs and Bosch leveling motors.
250$ ppd

WOW, Kitty, that's a great looking set. Wish I had another to put them on.
