Default Rear Wiper Problem...

hi Guys,

i have a bit of a problem with my rear wiper, its stopped working.

i have 1996 318ti base UK model

just wondering if anyone could help me out?

the wiper was working fine up until it stopped working, now it doesnt work atall, when i push the arm in the rear washer kicks in but nothing from the arm, different switches?

ive stripped the motor out and it looks in pretty good nick, there are 2 connectors attached to it, 1 connector is chunky and the other is quite slim, both are 2 pins, im getting a constant 12v from the larger connector but im not sure what the smaller is for, relay maybe?

if the motor was faulty would it not give some sort of struggle or blow a fuse?

checked all fuses and they seem fine, im not sure of the location of the control relay for it though.

should i buy a new motor and try that?

thanks for any help you guys can give
