Even Greenville, SC is getting clobbered with snow. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 01-11-2011, 04:26 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | why aren't there any clean ix's in Vermont? oh, that's right, rust if I had the money I'd be all over it, I want an ix | | | 01-11-2011, 05:14 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2008 Location: Denver, Colorado Posts: 255 | Darn nice IX, and 88 is hands down the best year! The beaters I am used to are rusted out and should have a minimum of 3 different colored body panels on them. __________________ (00=[][]=00) _______________ ________ Steve Still looking for a monthy driver 1988 M3 parked 1967 2000cs parked Last edited by Altitude; 01-11-2011 at 07:39 AM. | | | 01-11-2011, 07:42 AM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2008 Location: South Central, MN Posts: 1,065 | Quote: Originally Posted by Altitude No, No, No, That looks too nice to be a beater! No, I wouldn't consider it a beater. All the body panels are the same color and they light up just fine! LOL The car needs some TLC to be a daily driver, but I think it's reasonably priced for the condition it's in. I paid 4K for it and have over 1K in spares that come with it. I even have a spare front hub and axle which I understand are almost as hard to come by as the VC. Also, the AWD, it truly is a magical (and fun) vehicle on snow and ice. Hard to believe how advanced a vehicle it was. This car sold for over 30K when new....in the 80's!!! Come on, someone here has to have a TI or a 91 318IS for trade!!! | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
