Getting the air out of a TI was frusterating, as it continued to overheat
after following all the technics of loosening the bleeder after cold and the
nose of vehicle Highly elevated.
I removed the airbox cover to reveal the top radiator hose. Pulled that off
and faced it high and upward. I had another hose lying around so I connected
that to the top radiator fitting and filled BOTH to as full as possible. I then
sqose the lower radiator hose (many times) and started the engine and idled til the temp guage got to ten o'clock and resqose and shut-down the engine
and let cool. To my amazement I had to re-fil more 50/50 coolant to the hoses til they no longer needed topped off. I used a small plastic cup after
the bleed was successful, to catch the coolant as I lower the hose on the
radiator first so it could be removed. I took time to lower the other hose
to not loose the coolant, and got it reattached. I let it idle ten minutes
and NO OVERHEAT at guage 12 o'clock. I drove two miles slowly, and on return, I let cool to re-bleed, but did NOT need to. This was succesful.
