 96 318ti auto w/ california sunroof
My son and I own a 96 318ti automatic, silver with black leather interior, and rare California extended sunroof that is a project car that we can no longer afford. It has 179K miles and the engine is good. Transmission makes some amount of noise in reverse but ok otherwise. The body is in fair condition, but with minor damage to the hood and some damage to paint from leaking brake fluid on side panels. No real rust other than on the hood where it was crimped. The front brake assembly (pistons, rotors, pads) has recently been replaced.
Several components are failing, sunroof won't fully close (seems like broken tooth on gear), both power windows are not working, door panels are loose and need some work, tires are close to bald, and wheels are corroded.
Would make a good project car or good for parting out. We're not interested in parting it out ourselves.
