first one I bought for my wife when she was in Canada for a month. When I get depressed I buy cars, and I was sad and alone. The ti made me happy and when she got back to a 98 ti over an 86 325e she was happy :-)

second one I was watching go on ebay and couldn't stand seeing it go cheap, so I bid it up, not intending to buy it... unfortunatley I bid it up and noone else bid... so I have 2 now :-)

Brought mine from a independent car dealer and had 4 to choose from, a green one (it was spoken for), silver one (didn't like the trim on the bottom), black one (it had a horrible colour interior) and blue one, also had several sedans but they didn't look right

Just got back from the workshop and several things fixed under warrenty, now the seat doesn't move sideways when cornering, new ignition barrel, checked fuel sender as it was reading wrong when the tank is full, all for free

i bought mine off a mechanic, who only had it for 2 weeks. so it's either mechanically sound, or he knows of tricks on how to hide problems.

eitherway, it's great to drive, no problems so far, and i love it
and it's a lot better than the previous one i almost bought, which was a base model for the same price

I bought mine in 01 from Dedham Auto Mall on RT1 in Dedham, she only had 30k on her. Went to test drive a different car then saw this blue bmw on the other end. Test drove it then put a deposit down,i honestly bought it for the color & it was still a hatchback which i liked. I picked her up on the day i was coming back from a red sox yankees game in the bronx. Still remember that whole day.

Found it with AutoTrader. Bought it from one of the local BMW dealers, although it was 11 years old and had 118k miles.

I got mine off ebay about 3 years ago...it had 62k on it and all the options. I have put a crap load of miles on it since because of work, but it runs like a champ still!

I bought mine from the master mech. at the local BMW dealership. I was assuming that since I was buying it from him I wouldnt have to worry about mechanical problems for a while if I serviced it right, I was wrong.

I got mine from an individual dealer. It was a trade-in and they were letting the car go for a decent price because normally that dealer sells stuff like Ferarri's, Lambo's, old Vettes and the "higher end" BMW's and Porches.
