Ofna 1/8th scale GT-V2e Pro roller with 1:1 gear mod. Steve Neu motor (60,000rpm), 8s LiPo batteries, I'm shooting for 150mph. Speeds are taken from shaft telemetry on TX and verified by GPS unit in car. The current speed record with this type car is 163 mph. I've been 137 so far then it took flight with a visious blow-over. Since then I made some body mods to help keep it on the ground. Next Friday I will run at the airport runway to try to hit 150 for the third time. This accident happened right in front of my house which is not the best street for high speed runs. I'm very happy I had my shoes on or I think I would have lost a toe or worst. It completely knocked me off my feet... | | | 06-30-2013, 04:58 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: SW Florida Posts: 4,275 | The gas pedal foot ta-boot?
