Default OBD2 engine in OBD1 car

I know this is an old post but its the information I'm looking for but the thread seems to die before the real information is exposed.
I have an OBD2 M44 engine that I want to put into my OBD1 car that had an M42 engine. Basically the difference is the OBD system, I have all the parts for either but would like to keep the car OBD1 if possible.
Cam and Crank sensors seem to be the biggest Issue so far. One in the front one in the back, one on the intake and the other on the exhaust.
Anyone got a good list of the steps required to make this work?
Thanks
randy

You will need the DME flashed for sure (EWS off, Speed sensor Del, few other options) . We offer this service for swaps.

info@midnight-tuning.com for pricing

cheers
