Yeah that's the same idiot who snagged the pics of Sean's car and used them to try and sell his on craigslist...forget that they were different models, Sean had his TSW wheels on his car and this guy's wheels were stock, and a few other things...twit.

Don't be too hard on him Al. Jobs are hard to come by these days and I don't know if I would have jeopardized my job for my car either...cause one pays for the other. Mav's boss prolly didn't take the weather report seriously enough...we were supposed to get a blizzard here on Monday that never materialized but of course now that I'm at work 50 miles from home it's snowing like a sumbitch with 5" - 12" expected before nightfall and another 5" - 9" later tonight...the joys of being a mile high.

what he said! F that d!ckless pussy ass punk...

to boot, I would document exactly what the guy said to you & approach HR and demand the company paid for the damage!

otherwise, you are screwed - keep the performance & part out the rest - use the money to start fresh!

good luck guy.

Wasn't being hard on him, just his boss for running his outfit like a Nazi camp.

Damn Mav, that sucks. I'd be really upset if that happened to me. But then again, my boss drives a renntech, so I think he'd let me move my car if I were in that situation. The one thing I don't understand is this, what about the bank on the other side of the parking lot would have protected your car?

This is the best advice in this thread.

+1

And don't believe your boss when he says "oh, our insurance doesn't cover that sort of thing." Go to his superiors, assuming there is one, and ask them. The bonus here is that they might be upset with him for his poor decision and he'd get in some sort of trouble. But, you didn't report him to get him in trouble, you were simply inquiring about insurance coverage.

get a lawyer. sue the company you work for to fix it. you'll win if you don't hire a clown.

gross neglence on the supervisors part.

I threatened to sue my previous employers landlord for damages to my sti because they didn't have a fence and some kids threw rocks at my car. I had full covereage, but a 1k deductible, so i made them pay the dedcutible.

they put a fence up a month later
