From what I've read, as you level up you unlock the damage. I think at level 40 it is fully unlocked.

It's a good idea. It's sad that companies pander toward making games as easy as possible. Don't get used to being spoon-fed gameplay without frustration.

Making damage an unlock is ridiculous. I did some research and the amount of money you have to fork out when you do get damaged is way too high. Granted, it's too low in Forza 3, but I'd rather it be too low than way too high.

So I got my copy a few days ago and I was not very impressed at first but having driven my Mini stock and then upgrading gradually gave me great comfort and noticeable improvement in handling and performance. There are some cars that don't offer the interior driver but overall I am content with the game.

I got it... GT is the only reason I own a PS, PS2, or PS3. I have been playing GT for a dozen years or so. It is disappointing on some aspects but it does get better as you play.

As for BMW's in the game a Z3 M Coupe is in there somewhere, so is a 2002 turbo, I just picked up an E46 M3 CSL this weekend in used cars... for now my favorite car is my Z4 M Coupe. I have a lot more I could do to it but I take my mods slow, right now it does a 7:29 at the ring.

Anyone up for a GT5 Challenge? Say... fastest lap at the ring in an unmodified Z3 M Coupe, that being the closest to a ti the game has to offer.
