Speaking of that switch in the hatch edge...

A random non-intuitive feature for ya: With the hatch up, if you pull out on that switch, it turns the cargo light off.

I think it's mentioned here on the site somewhere, otherwise I wouldn't have known.

I did learn that when I was fiddling with it, I'm not sure what is causing the flicker. I will report if it was the switch. I already swapped the tail light backing plate from my other Ti, and the flicker remained, so it's not the board. Just hoping it's not some wiring gremlin some where

Can't believe someone had to replace their hatch for this

Ha! I replaced my switch this weekend.

My bulb never came on in the year I owned it. Found a TI getting parted out and swapped switches and it came on straight away. The old one appeared to have water damaged. Love having the light back there!

I'm not sure what trim or plastic wear is being mentioned in this thread, but I find it hard to believe that the switch would wear anything out over time, (other than itself).

I did find a good video on youtube showing how to check the switch, but seemed a heck of a lot easier to just to swap it out.

So I put a piece of double sided tape on the tail trim, filling the dented in portion of where the button hits, so far so good
