Default MHTi meet in March

So by the looks of it we wont be able to meet up this sunday. So lets meet up on a sunday in march. So who's got ideas, should this be a tech meet or drive? So far the date of the meet in March 22, 2008, by then both eric and clay should be back. So any ideas for a drive, should we take something to eat, go out to eat, or have a BBQ?

sorry to throw it sorta off topic but i ventured onto my seat recoving last night.

i removed my seat and got my bottom cusion off and then took it home and removed my fabric. now i am going to teach myself to sew lol

thats gonna be a hard step! anyways when i reinstall i will buy some batteries for my camera and do how to on it. its pretty simple but the recoving will be difficult and take some effort.

did you remove the whole seat and fabric or did you try and sew it while it was attached?

Nah to lazy it wasn't that bad so was like i can do this and i sewed the leather while it was on the seat. It wasn't the string that gave out, it was the leather. I think its to bad of a shape to actually hold on so it gave out.

Yea jess that would be koo or MHTi in SoCal

yeah once you pull it off anf you are looking at the bottom it deff makes it a LOT easier!

if i had a sewing machine i would probably take up a whole full fledged recoving and do somethign cool. but i'll wait on that

i personally would buy the manual seats.

i bet within about 2 hours you could have it done. the first seat is the hardest but its quite simple if you have a set of torx bits and pliers. and finding the hidden torx and figuring it out on your own. but i will have a write up that can help you out.

i may work on it tonight dependign if i wanna try sewing or not
