Welcome jap001! It sure would have been nice if they had sold the 323ti's in the states, would have made swaps a bit simpler! But in the end when I finally get around to doing mine it will be a great bonding process (of sorts).

They can be if you order a new BMW a walk (or swim) to your south. They provide a proper place to put things from the McDrive.

I suspect the E36 compact was just a little too earlier for cupholders: I couldn't find any listed in a 1998/99 Zubehörkatalog.

www.realoem.com gave me p/n 82111469074 for the U.S. 318ti cupholders. Curiously enough, that number only cross references to the U.S. 318ti -- and none of the European compacts. I suspect it was or is warehoused in the U.S. which could delay delivery a little if you order through a local dealer.

Hej Jan,

I believe your dealer should be able to order a U.S.-market part. Let me know if you have any difficulties and I will ask mine about what you may need to do. They have a contract to repair the new cars before they go on the ship, and order a lot of export-market parts.
