I agree, but then I don't think it is going to stop me. I'll be trying until I get it right. Simply for personal satisfaction. I would use mechanic, thing is that I had too many bad mechanics in the past that tried cutting corners or costs.
Who is going to stop him from putting $15 oil in the car rather than full synthetic like he was told to do... do you actually thing that a car mechanic would get temperature correct and replace the oil?
He would have taken my car for a spin to warm it up. He would lift it up and drain it. Replace it with some cheapo and charge you arm and leg
I'm yet to find someone I know who could recommend a good mechanic. Anyway enough complaining.
