I want to install 6x9 4-way speakers on the rear shelf but i dont really know how to cut into the shelf. How did everyone on here do it? What tools will i need? Also, i sometimes for work pack the back and need to remove the shelf...how can i set it up so i can easily disconnect the speakers and remove the shelf? __________________ Live Everyday As If Its Your Last A friend is someone who is willing to step into a flame to save you........aka a 318ti | | | 05-26-2007, 02:15 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: Portland Or Posts: 2,666 | Use molex or Delphi connectors for the speaker wiring disconnect. I'd use a 4 pin for each side and double up on the pins so two pins per wire. Roto zip cuts plastic, light sheetmetal and fiberglass nicely. You buy them based on wire guage, so you need to know the size wire you intend to use. I'm not a car audiophile (I do that at home.. ) So I used trailer light connectors for mine in my Jeep.
