Default 1997 318ti intake question!

I just ordered a toucan superflow intake and i can't find any reviews them, if anyone knows anything about them please let me know. thanks also if anyone can give me a link or instructions on how to install it that would be VERY helpful THANKS!!

Does the air intake by Toucan have a place for the air temp sensor on it?
I heard they don't.

hey i cancled my order becuast it was taking 2 long...i am gonna order one form cosmo since they have a fitting for the air temp sensor

HEy i was wondering if you got your cosmo in. I was plannign on getting a CAI from them but i dont konw abou the quality, i have heard both stories (crappy and nice). But did it come wiht good instructions, tight fit, etc......

i havn't gotten my intake yet it was just shipped out today...i will let you know when i get it and install it.

hey i have my intake installed, it is soo much louder and sounds sooo much more burley. The perormance is barely noticeable though. The installation took about 2 hours and i have no machanical experiance at all. (im 16) i would recomend it hellafied.

Yeah I heard that you have to get a computer download so the oxygen sensors can recognize the change. If you dont it will just regulate the amount of air coming in no matter what you have on. A BMW mechanic told me that. Congrats on your Ti. I had mine when I was 18 and now Im 25 still purrs like a kitten, I dont think Ill ever sell it. Im buying me a daily driver car.

yeah i have heard that 2, my check engine light has NOT come on or anything since i installed though. my friend has a Vtec accord and when he installed his intake his check engine light came on and it had somethign to do with his oxygen sensors. my dad has a OBD II code reader so if mine does come on we can see whats wrong with it.
