Default E36 M44 Coolant in Oil - Please help
Hey guys I have an E36 with an M44. A few weeks ago I turned my car on and it started overheating. Coolant was not pressurising and pipes weren't pressurising. Turned it off and checked the oil. The whole dip stick was covered in water. So I replaced the head gasket and had the head pressure tested; all OK. There was water in the timing case and on the timing chain. Just recently turned car on again and still same symptoms. Tons of water in oil and around timing chain. Any ideas?

Did you have the head checked with Dye for cracks?
