I just wanted to say that I absolutely love your car. It is absolutely one of the cleanest and coolest ti's I have ever seen. It is almost the exact look I have been trying to get for my car. I have a few questions for you.

Which style Racing Dynamics wheels are those? How much did the whole recovery end up costing you? Do you ever plan on selling it?

First I'd like to say thanks, I love getting attention with the car. I owe all the cleaning and general appearence of the car to my uncle. He had the car in his garage for the first 3 months, and him being a national concours winner did a crazy job cleaning that car. Without him this wouldn't have been possible in every way. He replaced things on that car that made it look like a showroom model. His website is www.bmwracefan.com

Here is a link to the Racing Dynamics site that describes my wheels.

I bought them from Turner Motorsport. I have got to say that anything Will Turner and his company sells is top notch and the best price.

As far as total cost with all the little things I've added that don't even have pictures is 25K, thats total for everything with freight. So much of the cost was just replacing silly things like clips and moulding. They add up really quick.

As far as selling it, Im a long way off. That doesn't mean Im done with the car either. I put some money away all the time for a possible turbo install someday. But thats a whole new can of worms, especially with that rear end. We didn't swap it out due to the fact that I wanted high torque. That rear end is not one to dump the clutch on. When we were first testing it in the first 1000 miles, I let a fellow driver (who by all means knows what he is doing) behind the wheel to run a few laps. Well he dumped the clutch and that whole rear end twisted like a napkin. Due to budgets and time we decided then not to replace the rear, so if a turbo would be added the rear would have to be swaped out. Well I could type all night about the car. Please post any more questions or comments you have and I will happily reply.

Thanks.

Justen,

Thanks for the response. Did you buy new OEM BMW parts to repair the car? If not where did you get things like the side skirts, M3 front, and M3 rear?

Yes we used factory BMW parts as much as possible. Most of the things we usedthat are custom are just BMW parts that were modified. We also used alot on European BMW accesories.

The Front and Rear are just the BMW M-Techniks package.

NO NO, they are 17 inch. I didn't look at the sizes the web page had, just the style. I couldn't imagine 10 inch wheels
