So 1800 is not that unreasonable.

A DASC powered m44/m42 is as quick as an S50/S52 (any US e36 m3). They're not slow at all. You also have to realize these kits are NLA and not many exist, especially whole and rebuilt

If I had the spare funds I would give this a very good home=/ I hope someone snags it from you soon to free up the money that you need

Default DA Supercharger for sale

Thanks Earl. It is a good deal and I hate to see it go but it needs to go.

You are also right about the power. Even as it comes it will hold its own with any stock or near stock e36 m3 and with some extra tuning it can exceed them. My plans if I could physically do the work with some good tuning can produce 220-240 hp at the rear wheel with a very strong torque curve.

The other benefit is that as long as not constantly pushing for power results in stock or better fuel consumption and considering I always get about 30mpg mixed. Doubt that a 6-cyl can match that.

I remember looking at the DASC when midnight tuning was around!

But the S50/S52 has the ability to be CARB boosted also.

And as Rich and I once lovingly argued his DACS vs my future S52 build, it would honestly come down to driver.
