Good Luck. Finding one used is pretty rare. New not likely since they stopped making them.

I have my 95 318i that I have been trying to sell for a year now with a DASC on it. Since I have gotten a ridiculous amount of interest but not a single person came to look at it, I am going to part it since there are so many good parts on it.

I dont know what they go for used. All I know is that its in perfect condition and that I paid $3500 for it.

Sean - Why don't you tell him its worth $100 so I can offer him twice your value ? :-) You can have it when I am done with it.

Btw- there is a 318ti at LkQ in Clearwater I am going to scavenge some small stuff from hopefully tomorrow morning. Have you already hit it?

I'd offer him some food stamps and a big bag full of pop cans for starters. I don't even have a minty fresh one hundred dollar bill to call my own. Got half a pack of bubble gum too...just to sweeten the deal up some.

Nope, I haven't been to the LKQ in Clearwater yet. I'm waiting for them to offer parts for free.

It's been sitting since December. I had gone away to college for my last semester and chose to keep it at my mom's house and took my E34. Since graduating, I moved down here and my current place has no room to keep it so at my mom's house it remains. My wife has a 318ti, so I took a few small parts off for her car, and since it wasn't selling, I planned to just part it, and keep what was usable for her car and sell the rest.

I autocrossed the car quite alot but built it for it. I had every bushing replaced, bought a brand new Metric Mechanic vLSD (such an amazing LSD) put a UUC LTW flywheel and E34 M5 clutch in it, and eventually put the DASC in it. The DASC put it over the edge and made it a whole level more fun.

Honestly, if I don't get a decent offer on it, I'll probably keep it and put it on my wife's ti.

Here is my For Sale ad on BF.c with pictures:
http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...9-95-318i-DASC

I kinda gave up on selling it. I had sold my '91 E34 525i/a through BF.c to a guy down here for his mom and she loves it. She drives all over the state with it, and 2 weeks after she bought it (with over 221,000 miles mind you), drove it to North Carolina and back. I always took really great care of my cars, and I really dont understand why it didnt sell. I suppose because it has so much done to it and its still "only" a 318i.

If I can figure out a way to get it down here, and part it, I will put a thread on here. Right now, the car is intact and ready to go.

How soon are you going to start parting it? There are certainly parts on it I'd be interested in, and I'm also close enough to come get them.

I could use the gas in the tank...if it's less than 1 year old of course. Are the tires filled with nitrogen? I need some of that too.

Honestly, I really dont know. I am pretty busy at work, and have to find a way to get the car here...but then the problem is that I have nowhere to keep it.

The tires are not filled with nitrogen lol

EDIT: in case anyone wanted to hear a DASC(mine) being wrung out at autocross:

Damn! Guess I need to go to the dealership then. Do they have coupons? Is it OEM nitrogen? It's got to be OEM German stuff for my car.

Honestly I dont know. I never cared enough to have my tires filled with nitrogen. I usually just check the pressures every week or two.
