Hi everyone, First of all, let me introduce myself. My name is Márcio (and my nickname is WuDoo) and I’m 27 years old brazilian living in San Diego – CA. I’ve moved here in the end of April… and in Brazil I always loved BMW… but there I never could afford one. Not even a month has passed since I bought my 318ti, since the day I bought it I already went looking for a bunch of stuff related to the car. Parts stores, dealers near where I live and also forum. My 318ti is a 1998 Artic Silver, pretty much stock. From what I know only the wheels were changed. The car has now around 93500 miles, and I'm (and my girlfriend) are loving it. This is the car today. The bad part: It's a salvage title. Was hit in the rear left. Well, I had around 5k to spend to buy me a car, and was looking mainly for an economic one, like Honda's Civic and alike... so when I saw this 318ti being sold for 6k I had to give it a try... and got a deal for 5k. Oh man, the story is getting to long… so I will stop here and tell more on a later post. This is really a nice community, I’ve read a lot… got a bunch of tips from older posts and still have some questions and suggestions to ask… Regards, Márcio “WuDoo”… | | | 11-30-2005, 05:47 AM | #2 | doesn't care about you. The wheels are 18" with 225/40 R18 tires... and they do fit nice, but the rear ones I think would need some suspension/shocks adjustments (or change them), cause they are the stock ones and are really near... when the car is in full load they rub a little doing turns and such. I'm glad to be here! Thanks again. | | | 11-30-2005, 06:27 AM | #6 | Junior Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: SanDiego, CA Posts: 12 | Quote: Originally Posted by CirrusSR22 Welcome!!
