Posts: 3,156 | (I moved this to a new thread so it might get more traffic) As to your question, if you want the M Coupe exhaust, use it! I beleive someone else (maybe several people now) have used the M Coupe/Roadster dual (quad outlet) exhaust on their swapped ti's. I beleive the piping is easy and only the hangars need to be figured out. The spare does need to go away of course, and I think the original muffler heat shield needs to go as well. Others will have to help with the other install details! | | | 05-07-2009, 04:53 AM | #3 | Member Join Date: Jul 2008 Location: "in a van down by the river" Posts: 94 | thanks so much J!M, hopefully i can get this done by the end of the summer so i can post up some pics. __________________ 1999 318ti Hellrot M-Technik Sport Package Current mods: Dinan CAI, Motorsport X-brace, ZKW's, 50w 6k low, 35w 3k high, 50w 6k French Fogs, Orion V2 angel eyes, Xenon LED interior lights, V3 LED license plate lights, M3 front bumper lip and mesh, DDM M3 style Mirrors, OEM Style 68 Wheels, CD43 Headunit, UUC Stainless Steal Brake Lines, Painted Red Calipers F/R, Rear Bavauto cup holders. | | | 05-08-2009, 05:03 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: 43609 Posts: 3,425 | __________________ 1995 Hellrot Clubsport 318ti -Gone 1996 Schwartz II Sport 357ti - 5.7L V8 LS1/6 1997 Moregrun Metallic 318ti - Gone 1998 Schwartz II sport 318ti - M50TUB25/5 | | | 05-08-2009, 05:04 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: 43609 Posts: 3,425 | __________________ 1995 Hellrot Clubsport 318ti -Gone 1996 Schwartz II Sport 357ti - 5.7L V8 LS1/6 1997 Moregrun Metallic 318ti - Gone 1998 Schwartz II sport 318ti - M50TUB25/5 | | | 05-10-2009, 04:05 AM | #6 | Member Join Date: Jul 2008 Location: "in a van down by the river" Posts: 94 | thanks man i'll have to keep that in mind because i do want to keep the m-tech diffuser. do you have the 323ti diffuser? it looks really good!! also why do some ti's that i see on here have the outside b pillar painted body color (like yours) and others (like mine) are the black? __________________ 1999 318ti Hellrot M-Technik Sport Package Current mods: Dinan CAI, Motorsport X-brace, ZKW's, 50w 6k low, 35w 3k high, 50w 6k French Fogs, Orion V2 angel eyes, Xenon LED interior lights, V3 LED license plate lights, M3 front bumper lip and mesh, DDM M3 style Mirrors, OEM Style 68 Wheels, CD43 Headunit, UUC Stainless Steal Brake Lines, Painted Red Calipers F/R, Rear Bavauto cup holders. | | | 05-10-2009, 04:17 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | they're all painted, BMW just put black vinyl over it which some people remove | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
