Any insight?? | | | 10-11-2008, 05:13 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Minneapolis Posts: 1,587 | $280 is a good start if it includes the transmission plus that extra stuff. You can find a stock, used flywheel for cheap ($50 or so) on car-part.com. A new clutch on eBay is about $150, or some of the used flywheels from the junkyard will come with the matching used clutch. If you plan to keep your car for a number of years, it's a good idea to put a brand new clutch and clutch parts in there while it's all apart. | | | 10-11-2008, 07:26 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2005 Location: Florida Posts: 2,525 | What year is your car, and do you have to do OBD/emissions inspections? Doing just the manual swap on an OBDII car will trip the cel, and a lot of inspection stations will not pass it. Really depends on your local laws. You can get the computer repogrammed, but not every shop is going to know how to do that. | | | 10-11-2008, 09:43 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2008 Location: Raleigh/Charlotte, NC Posts: 1,233 | I have OBD1, a 95 | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
