You have a bad thermostat. Replace it and don't forget to bleed the system. http://www.318ti.org/forum/showthread.php?t=27983 | | | 01-07-2011, 02:15 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2008 Location: Auburn, Alabama Posts: 206 | Welcome to the club. Mine does it too. Thermostat is stuck open, but I can't spring 50 bucks for one right now. | | | 01-07-2011, 06:01 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2010 Location: Ottawa, ON Posts: 108 | Hey noga if you plan to replace the thermostat make sure to buy the housing also! Bastards tend to chip and crack when you replace them so it's just easier to replace the whole set. Instead of 50, your probably looking at 70-80. Just replaced mine so GL! | | | 01-07-2011, 08:27 AM | #5 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | Quote: Originally Posted by Canadian Hey noga if you plan to replace the thermostat make sure to buy the housing also! They're sold together, unlike the aluminum housings and thermostats used on M42's | | | 01-07-2011, 06:43 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2008 Location: Auburn, Alabama Posts: 206 | Quote: Originally Posted by Canadian Hey noga if you plan to replace the thermostat make sure to buy the housing also!
