I have a reader on my OBDII port watching for my SMOG readiness to all turn green. All tests are complete except Catalyst status. I've driven perhaps 60 miles thus far. How along are you all driving before it it ready to test? Search yielded no clues. Seems to run great and smooth. In WA state you can have 2 monitors showing "not ready". I believe that it is an EPA standard across states. Though I've never registered in California (thank goodness) | | | 03-13-2016, 07:08 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2012 Location: Sacramento, CA Posts: 2,451 | Thanks ! recall something like that as well, so I called this morning and for a 97 I can have one item pending a test, So I am good. Of course, not many shops are open today so, it may wait until tomorrow. Thanks much Ken for the reminder. Cheers! I found a test station open today and passed first time nice and cleanly! Not bad for a $99 dollar motor... So for future reference, I was able to pass SMOG with one readiness test outstanding. Now I'll start doing all the funnier stuff to make it Wifie's new daily driver as my son took her M42 TI.
