I am assuming those are at the wheels, right? Because the stock only pulled 120ish. Is that with the stock kit or the upgraded kit with the smaller pulley, w/a injection. and upgraded software? | | | 08-13-2005, 05:17 AM | #47 | Member Join Date: Jul 2005 Location: South Florida Posts: 32 | Those numbers are at the wheels. KO specializes in the development of bolt on systems for the e36 M3 and the modification of existing systems for a more efficient power plant. KO has spent an absorbent amount of time in R&D on the M44/M42 engine to develop more power at lower rpms as well as an un-matched 200 HP+ at the top of the power band. The major difference is in our manifold design, we utilize the same long equal length runner intake manifold style that BMW used on the car originally which maintains high air velocity through out the power band. Also the greater distance between the S/C and the cylinder head allows the air to cool , as well as reducing heat soak from the engine to the S/C housing. To place your order on this system at our introductory price of $2,499. Please email :jag@koperformance.com with your contact info and one of our representatives will contact you shortly. | | | 08-13-2005, 02:54 PM | #48 | aka Stabby Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Mead, CO Posts: 5,336 | is an installation instruction manual available online (pdf or whatever) now? i'd like to see the procedure to see what all is involved. __________________ 1996 318ti, California package, 267k miles current mods: bilstein sports, bavauto springs, e30 m3 LCABs, solid metal ball joints, bavauto RSMs w/reinforcements, e30 3.73 LSD & halfshafts, supersprint cat-back exhaust, turner rear sway bar reinforcements, IE poly subframe & RTABs + camber/toe kits, powdercoated e36 32x front calipers, sport mirrors, H&R 28mmF/19mmR sway bars, x-brace, auto solutions SSK w/poly bushing upgrade, BMW CD43 head unit, DICE HD Radio w/iPod integration and "stealth" HD antenna, staggered style 68s, orange electronic TPMS, leather arm rest, JT Designs metal undertray acquired and awaiting install: heated seat kit, cali top switch relo, lumbar support kit, park distance control kit, heated washer nozzle kit, m-coupe rear subframe, trailing arms, differential, and halfshafts, m-coupe front/rear brakes with master cylinder, under hood light kit, mud flaps, rear sun blind, auto-dimming rear view mirror, tilt steering wheel retrofit, apexcone 5000K HIDs with 55W ballasts 2002 X5 4.4 Sport Package, 53.5k miles Current Mods: e46 m3 steering wheel | | | 08-13-2005, 06:08 PM | #49 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: England, UK Posts: 1,288 | Quote: Originally Posted by cali-ti is an installation instruction manual available online (pdf or whatever) now? i'd like to see the procedure to see what all is involved. | Excellent, will ask you for installation advice once yours is on then LOL __________________ 1995 BMW 316i Cosmos Black Mods: • Magnex Cat-Back Exhaust • Smoked Corner Lights + Repeators • M3 17" Wheels • De-Baffled Air Box • AC HandBrake Handle and Gear Knob • DEPO Euro Epsiloids + Predator Chronium Rings • Chrome Interior bits •IE Poly-Urethane RSFMs • Kenwood Power Series Audio • Powder Coated e36 325 Front Callipers • Sports Seats | | | 08-13-2005, 08:32 PM | #50 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: tailgating your slow ass Posts: 518 | So will the dasc or this give you more power? | | | 08-13-2005, 09:09 PM | #51 | I miss my Ti....... :( Join Date: Nov 2003 Location: Los Angeles, CA Posts: 828 | AFR's? Dyno runs of the modified kit with pulley and water injection software etc.. are yet to come, one of our customers plans on taking his system to the next level and we will be there for the dyno. | | | 08-14-2005, 12:38 AM | #54 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: Columbia, SC Posts: 528 | Saw the boys at KO performance at Summerblaze. I have driven it home and that is about it other than the test drive. I am interested in the new supercharger but I have a problem, that being that I got a $6000 loan to purchase my $4500 BWM and the supercharger system costs $2499. That leaves me short $1000 ATM. Will you be extending the $2499 offer past the original date of September 1? If not it is my loss and is understood. I will get other modifications first and save up for the supercharger. | | | 08-14-2005, 06:00 AM | #57 | aka Stabby Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Mead, CO Posts: 5,336 | Quote: Originally Posted by Viper3812 Same here, very interested. Kojag- did these Z3's have modded exhausts or other drivetrain parts? __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition | | | 08-14-2005, 05:43 PM | #59 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2004 Location: Florida Posts: 1,595 | Quote: Originally Posted by cali-ti please post your comments/thoughts/etc after your visit as i'm sure those of us who are unable to visit would be very interested to hear about your experiences. thanks | No problem, I will let everyone know and I'll bring my camera for some close up pics. | | | 08-15-2005, 01:13 AM | #60 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Muncie, Indiana Posts: 1,551 | I think I need this S/C.
