Right now with shipping it is close to that... Two days left I could see the price hitting 45$ and being almost 60$ shipped.. | | | 11-25-2006, 03:03 PM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Port St. Johns, Florida Posts: 2,242 | Ed(Bimmerbum) is always better than the dealer's price on parts. | | | 11-26-2006, 12:16 AM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2004 Location: Virginia Posts: 368 | Last time I bought them they were $41/pair from my local BMW dealer with a BMW CCA discount. And that was for the heavy-duty version designed for rear spoilers. Why get anything else? No shipping, just some tax. I always check with the dealer first. Their prices are often very surprising....sometimes for the better. | | | 11-26-2006, 01:53 AM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Minneapolis Posts: 1,587 | The pair is $63 at my local dealer through their online site. Parts right from the counter are always more expensive than their website too. They don't allow you to order online and pick-up either, thus saving the shipping charges Pelican has them for $69.50 shipped and Autohaus AZ is just slightly more than that. | | | 11-26-2006, 11:55 AM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: state college, pa Posts: 3,431 | Maybe we should try a group buy on these with bimmerbum. __________________ I scream, you scream, we all scream for ZOMBIES. | | | 11-26-2006, 01:40 PM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | Quote: Originally Posted by aceyx Maybe we should try a group buy on these with bimmerbum. | I once compared his prices. He's not making much money on parts unless someone is leaving them outside the shop door at night or marking up the shipping. I don't believe either are the case. The few items I compared he is 25-30% off MSRP. I get 20% off list. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti 2003 MINI Cooper S 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 11-26-2006, 01:49 PM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Port St. Johns, Florida Posts: 2,242 | Quote: Originally Posted by 1996 328ti I once compared his prices. I can say anything bad about Ed's business. Plus his 2.8L Z coupe is nice too. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
