Although, if you have 96 TI the motor should be an M44, and you should have a MAF sensor in place of the AFM. I know that Dinan makes a pricey M44 CAI, but pretty much what you will need for the MAF set up is 3" hose that you will be able to connect a pices of pipe with a filter on it, and run the tube into the brake duct area. -Chad | | | 10-14-2004, 05:44 AM | #3 | TRETEN IRGENDEINES ESELS Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Rhode Island Posts: 3,687 | I think racing dynamics has a intake for this model and it's like 110 bucks. I bought one from them but i have a 98 ti and it doesn't fit my engine. The only thing i got pissed off about is they say it's for a 98 but it's not. They told me my 98 engine is different from all the other 98's. I told them that it was very misleading and should change the year of the car for the intake. I told them that the in march and it's now october and they still haven't updated it. I don't understand how they have 2 dif engines for a 98 ti. anyway for the price you can't go wrong as long as it fits. __________________ 98 Avus Blue 318 ti Active clear outs all around, stealth turning signals, blue led interior lights, 35% tinted windows,K&N air filter, 12" Kenwood Sub, MTX Thunder Amp,Alpine cd changer, Leatherz Armrest,ACS Pedals/Handbrake/FloorMats & Vitesse Tuning Carbon Fiber B-Pillars/CF Spark Plug Cover, New 16" MSW Typer 14 Rims on Goodyear Triple Treds www.myspace.com/avusblueti | | | 10-14-2004, 05:55 AM | #4 | Junior Member Join Date: Oct 2004 Location: Sydney, Australia Posts: 8 | Tyler, can u post me a link for racing dynamics webite.. yeah its a lil harder for me to get any racing dynamics products cause im situated in sydney, australia.. | | | 10-14-2004, 06:51 AM | #5 | TRETEN IRGENDEINES ESELS Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Rhode Island Posts: 3,687 | Quote: Originally Posted by chaison Tyler, can u post me a link for racing dynamics webite.. yeah its a lil harder for me to get any racing dynamics products cause im situated in sydney, australia.. | Oh i see, well here's the link www.racdyn-usa.com hope it's what your looking for. __________________ 98 Avus Blue 318 ti Active clear outs all around, stealth turning signals, blue led interior lights, 35% tinted windows,K&N air filter, 12" Kenwood Sub, MTX Thunder Amp,Alpine cd changer, Leatherz Armrest,ACS Pedals/Handbrake/FloorMats & Vitesse Tuning Carbon Fiber B-Pillars/CF Spark Plug Cover, New 16" MSW Typer 14 Rims on Goodyear Triple Treds www.myspace.com/avusblueti | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
