Default New Member Intro

Hi All,

just thought I'd chuck a bit about myself up in the lounge as an intro. Currently I've had my 1998 318ti sport for 2 years. I've done only cosmetic mods currently however due to fairly regular thrashings the head gasket has just gone.

I'm faced with a question that i don't know the answer to: What is the easiest and cheapest engine to fit but will deliver the best results without having to redesign the entire thing?

I've spent the last few days scanning through the impressive engine swaps that 318ti.org members have completed, they are truly impressive. I really want to go from 4 cyl to 6 cyl. what is the best entry level way of doing this?

Anyway please expect some pics of my car in the next few days.

Thanks in advance and I hope to become an active member of this excellent forum.

Cheers Ben
