Default Stolen Gas

Some dirt bag siphoned about 5 gallon of gas out of my car last night. Woke this morning to a open gas door and cap on the ground. Just put $20 in it last night and I've got a nice yellow low fuel light on my gauge, no gas refill needed.

So pissed since I have a 528i in the driveway I'm working on so my car was out of camera sight. I watched 5 hours of tape hoping to see something but nothing and I had to watch all the tape since the wind had my palm tree setting off motion sensor all night so I couldn't just go to the motion recorded view.

Only good this is they were pros since they got their hose back without damaging the flap door for the gas nozzle.

Parked in same place tonight with a new camera on the car hidden in my boys room window. Hope I catch them

That sucks. Saw your mailbox video and was wondering what the camera was doing, now i know.

Good that the car wasn't damaged. Gas prices aren't really that high right now even.

A guy could've at least buttoned up the job, it's gotta take a while to get 5 gallons out. Personally, I'd look for a big ole F150....a little 4cyl??

That sucks!

did they pry the fuel door open or was it not locked? I never check mine and just assume it locks wth the doors. Now I'm going to have to check it, thinking someone will steal the gas. I have no camera

the fuel door lock is just a little plastic piece, anyone with a flat head screwdriver could pop it open in a couple seconds (and probably scratch the paint in the process)

sorry to hear that John, sucks that people would rather steal than legitimately work for something
