Heres the funney part, other then "feo' being the spanish word for ugly, I had graduated driver's ed the day before and had only had my liscince for seven hours and my car for less then five before getting pulled over. Moral of the story is that you should always put a radar detector in your car before you drive. Before I bought the car I thought that the ti was slow because of the four cylinder, I was very wrong. | | | 11-01-2005, 10:14 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: Mt. Well in the end I didn't get a ticket but a warning. He was a cool guy __________________ Nick 1995 BMW 318iC. I have gotten more tickets in my car...the most recent being "careless operation." In other words, the cop knew I was speeding, but didn't get to clock me. | | | 11-02-2005, 03:03 AM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2005 Location: Virginia Posts: 247 | I get my fast driving fun in on the interstate of back roads late at night... Only ticket I have gotten was "Wreckless Operation," and I only got that because it's mandatory when you rear-end somebody (in the MX6). __________________ http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i1...ata/bmwsig.jpg '95 Hellrot Red 318ti • 18x8" E46 M3 Chromes • Eagle F1 GS-D3 (225/35/18) • Cosmo Racing CAI • Sony CDX-M800 Headunit • MTX Thunder 8000 Subwoofer • Audiobahn A8000T Amp • MTX Sledgehammer 12" Ported Box | | | 11-02-2005, 08:07 AM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2003 Location: Walnut Creek, CA Posts: 642 | The day I got my license, I literally had just gotten home when I told my parents I needed to go to the library. I took my dad's 911, of course, and a few miles from my my house, on the main drag in the suburb I lived in , I got pulled over. I know I wasn't speeding cuz I saw the cop on the side of the road giving someone else ticket. Anyway, shortly after seeing him, he pulls me over and I hand him a print out of my "license" from the DMV I had gotten less than an hour ago. He said it sounded like I was going fast. Whatever. He let me go, but I was embarrased because 1) I had to give him this piece of paper 2) I was hoping no one would recognize me or the car. Anyway, looking back, it's funny. __________________ '95 330ti CS w/sr delete, S50USB30, cams, 24# inj, Conforti SW, Euro HFM, Samco Silicone Intake Boot, BBTB, Euro Oil Cooler, JTD CAI Duct, RE DMS exhaust, RE Tranny mounts, CF Valve Cover, LTW flywheel/Kevlar sprung hub clutch, RE SSK, 3.46 Finned LSD (M6) , M3 tranny, Brembos, RE Wheel Studs, SS brake/clutch lines, CF interior, Rear Headrest retrofit, Tilt Steering retrofit, 13.5 lb DynaBatt in rear, LED interior/footwell lights, ZKW HID, Headlight Aim Control, Rear fog light w/cluster indicator, CF 3 Aux gauge pod, BMW Traffic Pro/Alpine MP3-CD Changer, Staggered LTW wheels, '95 M3 steering rack, VIS CF Hood, M3 LTW Strut Bar, TCK SA coilovers, Red LTW Motorsport Seatbelts, OEM Fire Extinguisher, Z8 Starter button, Auto dim rear view mirror w/ Homelink/Compass, PDC, Rear Sun Shade, Euro Gauge Cluster w/oil temp/shift light , Headlight Washers, "Motorsport" Door Handles, CF Grills, French ZKW Fogs, Euro dash bins, Power Lumbar Support is next, Coming e39 M5 interior light, Bimmer Magazine 8/2007 | | | 12-13-2005, 12:43 AM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Quad Cities, Iowa Posts: 2,110 | Good news! Five days after I got the ticket I got a call from the police station saying that the ticket was not valid because a mistake was made on it and it is now gone! I guess driving a ti is good luck! | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
