I believe it's a coarse threaded torx screw, not sure what it's specs are but I'd just go to a hardware store and just grab some screws that will work

#14 & #15 look like the airbag hardware. I believe what you're looking for is #11

I have #11 and those are being used to attach the door handle to the door panel.

Be careful about the length. One is longer than the other and if you reverse them it will hit the window mechanism and bend the screw.
Ask me how I know.
Nevermind, don't ask.

Let me take a look at my car.

I have two screws holding the door handle to the body.
The top one looks to me about 30mm.
The bottom maybe 15mm?

On my car (95) the torx screw is the one on the bottom of the handle, the phillips head is the one at the top behind the plate.

If you look at
http://bmwfans.info/parts/catalog/E3...m_panel_front/

There is a 12 and a 25.
The 25 is going to be the top. The 12 will be the bottom.
I'm guessing it's 12mm and 25mm.

Thank you so much for showing these to me. Did you look for these at a hardware store or were they from BMW parts? I am trying to spec them from BMW since I have a $20 credit from them.

This is what I have here. In the bmwfans diagram it shows same width but different lengths. I have here the small one which is said to go on the bottom part # 51418215054 and the top one was already there before. I am confused because in the diagram it shows them as the same diameter but different lengths.

Mine look to be the same diameter with the longer one being a coarser thread.
