Anybody know if i can get them for cheaper? __________________ 18'' Ace Wheels Pirelli P7000 SS Tires Bosal Brospeed Exhaust B&M Short Throw Kit H&R Sport Springs Euro Clears cat delete Rogue Engineering Clutch Stop Modded Airbox blacked out kidney grilles Suede Headliner/A Pillars S52 CONVERSION UNDERWAY | | | 05-27-2004, 11:40 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2004 Location: Fort Collins, CO Posts: 290 | At bmpdesign.com they are $100. | | | 06-01-2004, 04:25 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2004 Location: LA & Colo Spgs Posts: 210 | Buyer beware...all SS lines are not created equal! Yes, you can get them for <$100, but you may get what you pay for--many in that price range have shoddy quality connectors or poor quality inner hoses (the stainless steel is just on the outside to help prevent the hose from expanding under pressure like rubber hoses). I checked 'em all and ended up going with the Goodridge kit from the TireRack (~$150 when I bought them, but up to $175 now). A little more expensive... but unmatched performance and peace of mind that they will not break apart at the seams is important when it comes to your brakes... | | | 06-01-2004, 08:00 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2004 Location: Fort Collins, CO Posts: 290 | I agree with budget m3. Goodridge is a good brand to get. I wouldn't buy a stainless set that you could find for less than $100. | | | 09-02-2004, 03:46 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2004 Posts: 411 | are they universal? | | | 10-10-2004, 12:39 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2004 Location: North Saint Paul, MN Posts: 606 | Does anyone have the BMP lines?? I was going to get those but not if they are actually shoddy. If you have 'em how well have they worked for you!! | | | 10-11-2004, 12:23 AM | #7 | Member Join Date: Nov 2003 Location: Asheville, NC Posts: 59 | I got my set from Korman, and am very pleased with them. I don't remember what I paid for them, and they don't list prices on their website. Most of their parts are for race cars, hence not very cheap. Great upgrade if you do track days, autocross... | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
