Default Need help pricing my engine

How much is an M44 engine with 90,000 mile worth?
Runs strong
Synthetic oil
Never overheated

If you were closer I'd say about $400.

But since it's too far to drive I would say probably on the high end of $1000-$1500, maybe a bit more. MM prices are insane for a full rebuild-$8k I think. There were a bunch on fleabay lately, mostly from BAR, unknown miles but ~$1400 with a waranty. A local yard wanted $2500 for one with 75000 miles and a full year waranty on parts.

Do they run a bit lower here to help out the community? I dunno. But it looks like I could find a swap car and kill two birds with one stone based on the prices I'm seeing.

Last year I gave 480 for one with 98,000 on it, but that was the cheapest one I could find up here in MI. Prices were all over the map with the average being maybe between 1000 and 1500.
