Default I dont mean to start a riot with this swap idea

So here it is guys. I love rotary engines and I can get a 20b tri-rotor for $4000. So yeah my m44 died ayear ago and has been sitting waiting for the money to be saved for the s52 swap. I have seen other BMW's online with this swap but I was wondering how the people on here would feel about me doing such a thing to the sacred 318ti. I mean if a person is willing to put an LS1 in it why not?

Why not sell the 3 rotor and get a S52. It may save you some money in the long run. The trial and error costs for doing such a swap could be high but the rewards of having a 100k rpm 500 hp engine could make up for that

BTW the 318ti isn't sacred, if it was people would do all of these crazy mods.

Makes me think of that japanese vid of the 3 rotor powered AE86... "3 ROTOR!!"

Sounds like a cool swap.

Interesting idea... I guess I am outta the loop but how much does an s52 cost? Wouldn't the rotor be alot more expensive? even just for the motor, not including all the custom work and everything else associated with getting that installed? I really love my s50 swap, but there is something to be said for people who go out on a limb and try something new. It could turn out awesome. but it might be a long and difficult road. depends on how much you can do yourself, and how much patience you have for it. if you go for it. goodluck and do a tutorial :-P

I really need that tri-rotor. Please consider a swap with me. I will by you the S52 and swap it for the "Wankle"

Please with a cherry on top

Just make sure you get the ECU with it, they are gold....

A triple is one of the loudest engines I ever fiddled with....
