What is the best way to install this as far as proper hardware. There is probably a dozen or so holes I would have to drill on the curve of my bumper. (could have been a little more centered with my drilling..) Seems oem, fits very well, even on the corners. | | | 06-23-2012, 12:38 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2012 Location: Portland, OR Posts: 159 | Looks good. I just used about 15 zip-ties to install mine though | | | 06-28-2012, 06:50 PM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2011 Location: Fremont, CA Posts: 148 | Quote: Originally Posted by tiFreak DDM Tuning sells them, I'm running one on my track cars OEM front bumper and it fits great. Pardon my ignorance, but I'm a noob at working on cars. I do want to get one of these on my car. I think it would help with driveway scrapes and bumps. __________________ Trixie Alpine White 1996 BMW 318ti Sport | | | 06-28-2012, 07:07 PM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2010 Location: Scranton/Wilkes-barre area PA Posts: 454 | you will also need the M3 bumper for this specific lip to work just fyi __________________ ***Derek*** ^^Lola^^ Pioneer radio/ Pioneer 6-Disk CD Changer/ JBL 601.1 Grand Touring Amplifier/ Bilstein Sport shocks/ Bilstein e36sedan springs/ Green LED Courtesy Lights Accident Counter: 3... | | | 06-29-2012, 03:32 AM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | Quote: Originally Posted by jggonzalez How do you install it with zip ties? I use the car for autocross so I figured if I hit a cone hard enough to knock the lip loose I'd just be scattering zip-ties instead of screws on the course | | | 07-01-2012, 01:37 AM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2011 Location: Fremont, CA Posts: 148 | Nice!
