i'm considering getting a da'lan hitch (since seeing someone here had one for sale  ), but i would like to see some pictures of one installed if possible before buying. i'm especially interested in where it bolts to the subframe near the differential, but i'd like to see pics of the complete install if possible. i would greatly appreciate if someone could post them in their gallery or send them to me in email. thanks in advance. __________________ 1996 318ti, California package, 267k miles

My car has one but was there when I bought it so I don't know how to install it. I can take pics of it if you would like but I dont know how helpful it would be. __________________

redleather, that'd be great if it's not too much trouble. pics of it installed is what i meant. i want to see how it fits in there, especially the bit that mounts to the subframe and sits between the heat shield and spare tire carrier. pics of where it mounts to the subframe from underneath, the side and rear would be awesome  __________________ 1996 318ti, California package, 267k miles

it fits ... but it's really tight, everything is pretty damn close together. i'll post pics soon ... i finally got the damn thing installed last night around midnight. that said, i still need to reassemble the rest of the car. i was VERY lucky that i was able to drill the one additional needed hole on the subframe without dropping the diff, it's incredible tight in there. __________________ 1996 318ti, California package, 267k miles
