Default 1997 bmw 318ti m-technic for sale $3500 obo.

I am selling my 1997 BMW 318ti. The car has roughly 160k miles. The is a hard sunroof car, 5spd manual, cloth centers in the seats with leather bolsters, with Mtechnic package. I am asking $3500 or best offer.

The car is in good shape with only a few minor exterior blemishes, considering the car is 14 years old. These include a scratch on the passenger side where the car got keyed when the previous owner had the vehicle and a blemish on the spoiler and rear of the car where the previous owner backed into something (not noticeable at all except up very close, as you can tell from the photos). Both fog lights function but as with many E36 models they have both (one was cracked since these photos) been cracked by road debris.

The car has never been smoked in, and has a clean complete interior. There are some minor blemishes on the door panels where a shop tried to fix the door panels from sagging and put screws in. I had the local BMW dealer fix the doors panels and they hold fine now and the screws were removed. All the power items work as they should (I recently replaced one of the window regulators to make everything function as it should. The car has recently had the entire stereo replaced with a new pioneer deck, new orion component speakers throughout, 2 new mtx 12' subwoofers in a box with MTX amplifier. The headliner, "A" pillars and rear deck have been wrapped in suede but the rear deck has faded badly.

I have two sets of wheels for the car. The stock wheels and the 18" CSL wheels (8.5 up front and 9.5 in the rear) shown in the photos. Both have tires but the rears on the CSL wheels are relatively worn. The tires on the stock wheels are probably dry rotted some due to no use.

The reason I am selling this car so cheap with all of the new stereo, wheels, recent work, etc. is because the motor has some pretty good oil leaks now and probably could stand to be rebuilt or replaced. This was my daily driver until very recently. As I said before, it runs and drives, but I no longer felt comfortable with it as my daily driver due to the oil leaks. I am not driving it at the moment because I wouldn't want to do damage to the motor due to the oil leak. I have a pretty good size folder full of receipts for work that me at the previous two owners before me put together.

Feel free to call or text me with questions 804-347-3988 or you may also email me at crosby.bryan@gmail.com. I have the title in hand and the car is located in Richmond, VA.

Thanks for looking!

Oil leaks are an easy fix! Most of the time. GLWS
