not sure about PMs... hope I'm not blocked.

anyway - I have no confidence in the struts... I'm really just selling the springs - but the struts come along for free. In case they really are busted - I wont feel like an ass.. LOL

Wouldn't happen to still have the reciept for the struts and shocks would you?. If so, I'm interested.

EDIT:

sorry everyone... the shocks are out of the equation as I'm gonna hook up a fellow member, who in turn helped me get my hands on a rear trailing arm for cheap.
Thanks Chris!

therefore, only the Bav Auto lowering springs & the H&R (sport/race - not really sure) are for sale.. price reduced to $150.00 for the confusion & shipping IS available!

please read the initial (top) post for description & pics!

no, sorry.. has been a few years now.
though, I'm sure I'm still in their system...

p.s. Bav Auto springs are linear, & NOT progressive - which was my main gripe with them.

as for the H&Rs... I got no details past the original seller's remarks... in fact I couldn't even match the part number with any current H&R springs.

so H&R says these drop 2.2 frt, and 1.2 rear.. you say you had a gripe with the linear design of the Bav Autos.. was it a rough ride? expected drop? would you sell just one set (separate the two..)? I dont need 2 sets of springs, and i think the Race would be too much for my shocks.

PM sent.

as for the springs - I just never liked the way they felt... kinda soft & limp-wristed & mushy - if that even makes sense. not sure if it was because of the shocks, or the nature of linear springs...

I even bitched about it at some point in the past - think the thread was called 'f*** bav auto'... LOL

anyway, let me know what you wanna do...

depends on the rate of the springs.. progressive springs generally allow you to run a stiffer spring more comfortably, the wider spaced coils absorb the bumps softly and are what you normally ride on.. the tighter spaced coils pick up the slack when you are pushing it.

linear springs are generally either a buckboard hard ride on a stiff spring, or limp wristed soft like you describe.

got your PM.. i'll think it over. I need to get the car dropped so I can pull the fenders and put the BBS on.

Got the springs today Thanks Marko! Looking to install them tomorrow after class..

FWIW.. the part # you posted on the H&R was transposed.. look at the # in the pic. They are H&R Race for the Ti.

hope this helps you sell em.
