I felt a substantial increase in power when I installed the Bosal cat-back system. The supercharger needs a nice exhaust system to breathe. I would replace the stock system with 2.25" or 2.50 piping if you can have the muffler shop do it.

To make it sounds really nice, install 2 high flow resonator instead of the cat. The exhaust system sounds really tinny and ricey if you don't install resonators.

my pipping consist of 2'' pipe with aftermarker cat and high flow resonator, the the stock muffler, so tomorrow i when to the muffler shop to remove the cat and put other high flow resonator, and change the muffler with a racing type. i think in PR is about 300.00

If I were you, I would keep the stock muffler and see what it sounds like. If you don't like it, you can always install an aftermarket muffler later. I think removing the cat and installing bigger piping will give it a nice sound.

Been following some of the exhaust threads. Dealer says my cat is bad, so I was thinking about aftermarket or remove it (Nebraska doesn't smog check) but I am concerned about whether that would screw up how the engine runs. Also planning to put DASC on and don't know what if any effect. You talk about resonators and muffler seperately. Is the resonator up front and muffler near rear? If I go with two high flows and a muffler, which brand? Buy where?
