A 600hp turbo M3 for 11k and no reserve...

Even if i had an endless supply of money i would not buy it, sounds to cheap and imo that means problems.

The price sounds cheap or the description? You do know there are ways of ensuring a reserve price without having a reserve price (much cheaper ways).

Somethings shady about that car anyway. It's strange that he would waste that much money posting pics of the vin numbers to begin with, not to mention that they all look like they've been tampered with. It jives with realoem as being an M3 sedan, but the fact that all of the stickers are peeling or torn is kinda iffy. And what's up with the rear suspension? Obviously the wheels don't fit, but geez, they don't even fit inside of the wheel arch. Did anyone notice the front strut mounts? Why are they offset like that? Camber kit? Did sedans come with twisty sideskirts? That one didn't. I'm sure it's a fun car to drive, but I wouldn't touch it even if it was free.

I'm pretty sure the rear wheels are like that to deal with the massive hp. No widebody, so the fender roller went to work, but still not wide enough to accommodate the necessary rubber. Not to mention, the rears are 9.5s with what looks to be low offset. Damn.

The car was repainted, they did a poor job of taping off the VIN numbers. Pictures are probably there to show that. He's pointing out the flaws.

Rolled fenders, big rubber, lots of HP.

That's how all m3's are, they have different suspension geometry than a 318ti.

To me it looks like a $25k car, maybe not to anyone else. In my opinion it's a very nice car, it pains me to read all the negative posts about it. It seems very well done. Pity nobody understands the amount of work, time and money it takes to build a car like this. Just think, you could load up 3 friends and still run 12s...

For the record, I have no affiliation with the seller.

Dusten, I agree with you, but there's only so many miles you can put on a 600hp motor that was only intended to do 240 from the factory. I see he did replace a lot of the internals, but not everything. There are still things under extreme stress.

That being said, I hope it sells for $35k, just to keep some 18 year old from killing himself/herself. At $12k, a pizza delivery kid could buy it.

You'd be surprised. Spend some time in the FI section of bf.c. 600hp is near the top, but there are daily driven m3s with close to that. Lowering the boost is pretty easy with a boost controller (which is already installed in that car). I hear 400-450hp is perfect for a daily driver that wants to stomp the piss out of any 360 modena on the street.
