Exhaust After 2.5 Swap

Okay, I have a ti with a 92 318ti swap, I got this car form my uncle, who bought it form some kid in jersye who had no idea what he was doing. The car is now fixed and runs like a top, thank you VAC motorsports!

My only problem with it is the ungodly ricer exhaust on it. I dont know what it is, or where he got it, but I was wondering what I need to do in order to get an e36 m3 exhaust to work. I have a functional e36 cat, just need the muffler. any ideas? do i buy one and have it modded? do they sell a shortened one?

The e46 muffler is supposed to work just fine. From what I understand the e36 6 cyl muffler will take some tweaking to make it fit.

I edited my earlier post, the engine is from a 92 325is. The e46 6cyl muffler is supposed to fit my e36 325ti? just tryign to clarify, It is just surprising...

yes the e46 muffler fits. I dont think it bolts up directly to the cats but the muffler itself bolts in. I bought the Super Sprint e46 330 unit for my project. Have not started the install yet though.

Hy. I want to make the same swap as you did. Can you give me an exact list of the things you used for your swap. From my knowledge I know that I can use my curent tranny and dif and just swap the engine and all the engine electronics and also the gauge cluster.
