OK, LET'S TRY THIS AGAIN... I JUST TRIED TO POST A THREAD AND IT BOOTED ME OUT. ANYWAY, I AM THINKING OF PURCHASING A 1995 318ti 160,000 MILES, CHECKING IT OUT TOMARROW... WANTED SOME ADVICE AS TO WHAT TO LOOK AT, HEARD OF THE TRANNY BEING AN ISSUE. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Check the normal things, but ask if the car has ever been overheated, the cooling system is a big weak link in this car. Also, just glance through the servicec records. If the previous ower took care of the car it should be good. If the car looks bad, prolly is bad.

well first off lets try and not type in all caps.
no one likes being yelled at.

also the trannys in these things are for the most point bulletproof.
