Default anyone tried 195/50/15 summer tires?

I was wondering, since 15" rims can fit, did anyone try 195/50/15 tires on the ti?
I'm aware that the tacho will be wrong but the car will also be probably a little more nervous and fun to drive?
but I'm worried (sue me) about the looks as well...

Can't think of any reason they wouldn't fit. My M spec has 225/50 16's

I think those tires are going to be too small, you'll lose fuel economy and be putting more wear on your car because the smaller tires need to spin more to cover the same distance

I don't really care about the extra mileage as I don't intend to sell the car. it'll be a daily driver for a few month and then most likely become my trackday toy

what I like about the idea is to add some "nervousness" to the thing, and also the cheap quality tires, I'm not after performance or fuel economy, mostly fun.

as far as I know (which isn't much tbh) I think track/compact cup tis run 195/50/15 rubber.

My fifteen inch oem steelies are noticeably more responsive than a set of seventeen inch DSI's that I have, both shod with all weather tires. 15's = more fun. 16's and 17's = a smoother ride. If you have oem steelies think about painting them the color of your car...I like the look.

I was going to say no to installing these on your car, but from my research that is what is used on the compact cup. Google the rules... Odd though
