Well, I too am experiencing the dreaded airbag light problem. My twist: I was backing outt of a friends driveway, I kind of got hung up on a planter in the front. Not very bad, I stopped immediately but the airbag light came on then and has been on since. I'm not so much worried about it shutting off as I am about it deploying spontaneously. Is it likely that it willspontaneously deploy? Thanks in advance everyone! -Yusuke | | | 06-23-2008, 11:22 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Pittsburgh, PA Posts: 1,224 | Your airbag won't deploy spontaneously. However, depending on the situation which triggered it, it may not deploy at all. | | | 06-23-2008, 11:28 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Quad Cities, Iowa Posts: 2,110 | Take it to the dealer just to be safe. The airbag/ safety equipment is something I wouldnt mess around with, get it taken care of the first time by the pros as soon as possible. __________________ "Drive Fast and Take Chances" | | | 06-24-2008, 08:24 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | if the planter hit the front of your car it may have damaged or undone a connector, take a look under there to be sure, all SRS connections should be bright yellow | | | 06-26-2008, 11:56 PM | #5 | Junior Member Join Date: Jun 2008 Location: United States Posts: 2 | Thanks everybody.
