Default Which dif for 328ti project?

Bought a '98 Ti rolling chassis and a '99 328i auto donor car. Both cars are stock with no mods. All I need now is a 5 speed trans to complete everything. Does anyone know if either dif I have with both these cars will work well? Should I be looking for a different dif? I'm pretty sure I'd like a LSD dif. I'll be using the new Ti for highway driving, autox and someday, on the track. Thanks in advance.

UPDATE:
Actually, I had given two down payments via paypal for both cars listed above, then both sellers flaked and sold to other buyers for more $ and refunded my $. Unbelievable! Got to start all over again, argh! I've had the worst luck with CL sellers. I have 100% positive feedback on *b *ay. Don't understand some people. Thanks for your help, much appreciated.

I have either a 3.45 or 3.46.
I need to take a look the next time I'm under the car.

had my stock diff on my 328ti for over a year now and it's holding up pretty solid. I would leave it unless you've had issues with it in the past
