You can use a Heli-coil or time-sert. Both of these are threaded inserts that replace the stripped threads in the head. The steps involved is to drill the hole slightly larger, tap the threads for the heli-coil/time-sert, insert the heli-coil/time-sert and the put in your bolt. Have four on one on my ti's and not an issue at all.

You need the insert for an M6 bolt. The complete kit will explain everything including what size drill bit to use. You are making the hole larger for the insert, but the threads will end up OEM size for your actual bolt. You are simply replacing the stripped threads.

Is the stripped thread in the head or the upper timing cover? I went though this with the Clubsport and just ended up replacing the upper timing cover.
